Ear Candy, 2013
Christopher T. Harris' playlet features George (Rob Broadhurst) and Jean (Tracey
Goddard), two newlyweds cooped up in a caravan in Aberystwyth on honeymoon, who realize to their horror that they are completely
incompatible. Their habits differ; they cannot agree on anything (even to the extent of choosing a fish restaurant),
and cannot get away from one another. In the confined space of the caravan, they have to spend every waking hour together.
Or do they ....?
Battle in Brecon is part of a larger project by the Aberystwyth Arts Centre, featuring twelve short plays written
by different writers and recorded all around the region. They are all available for download, as well as for purchase

I thoroughly welcome initiatives of this kind; they
prove beyond doubt that audio dramas do not have to be of any fixed length. Long or short, it's the quality of the writing
that matters. Harris' play proves the truth of this assertion.
