Ace Galaksi.com, 2013 This spoof detective series has our eponymous hero (Gord Mayer) trying to investigate
the workings of destiny. He embarks on a series of adventures, interviews several different people but appears to get
nowhere, being more concerned with knitting rather than eliciting answers to any questions. He is the kind of exasperatingly
bad detective that nobody wants around; the only problem is that he has a highly inflated opinion of himself. The comedy
of this satirical podcast arises from the disparity between the detective's lofty expectations and the bathetic results he
obtains. The
series has echoes of Star Trek, Raymond Chandler, with the postmodern self-awareness of Blackadder.
The cast enjoy themselves thoroughly - especially Michelle Cote in a variety of roles. This Canadian podcast employs a variety
of actors - some professional, some amateur. They have produced a very colourful and informative website about the series
