Ben-a-Pod Podcast, 24 August 2012
Sometimes you just have to sit back and admire the sheer amount of time,
effort, and energy that individuals put in to creating audio drama or other types talk-radio online. Most of their work
is voluntary, and undertaken purely out of a desire to build up a regular listenership and communicate regularly with them.
This seems to be the underlying purpose of the Ben-a-Pod podcast - written,
presented, edited and directed by Benjamin Bubb. He includes a variety of material in his podcasts; rather like putting
your hands into a lucky-dip, you don't quite know what to expect next. He includes regular slices of radio drama in
which he performs all the voices; truly an auditory polymath (if such a term exists).
Some of the material is better than others, it has to be admitted; but I do admire
Bubb's energy. I hope he continues to run the podcast for a long time to come.
